| About us
About us The Quality Control Laboratory (QCLab) is the first private independent food quality testing facility in Macedonia. Since 1999, the QCLab has provided dedicated, rapid and accurate analytical data for the analysis and control of food quality. We serve to enhance our customers business and protect consumers health. The QCLab also serves as a strategic partner for producers and processors of meat and dairy products, as well as fruit and vegetable processors. Our clients rely on us for their bacteriological and chemical analysis of food samples. A principal activity of the QCLab is to provide technical support for the Seal of Quality Program of the National Association of Meat and Dairy Processors in Macedonia through training and periodic testing. We assist food industries to satisfy their requirements for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). In addition to testing services, we have become a leading agency in technical assistance to food producers and processors. Through our trainings, many clients have enhanced their production and processing facilities, as well as increased the quality standards of their products. Background The Quality Control Laboratory was created through funding provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), as a part of Land O’Lakes Macedonia Agribusiness Marketing Activity (MAMA) Project in 1999. The Project implemented an industry-wide quality control program for meat and dairy products through its Seal of Quality program. The QCLab is the first independent food-testing laboratory in Macedonia.
