Samples
Meat
and dairy samples must be collected and delivered to the laboratory by
a licensed person. The samples must be accompanied by proper documentation,
which must include sample date, time and temperature.
Container should be intact with lids firmly sealed.
Dairy containers must not be filled over 75%.
Samples must be properly identifiable.
Samples must be sorted in groups arranged according to date of pick-up.
Collectors must report hazardous conditions of the pickup point.
Samples must be taken within 24 hours of pickup.
Samples must be transported in a portable storage which must maintain
the product temperature between 0°C and 4.4°C or bellow -18°C
for frozen products.
The temperature of the sample must remain the same during transport
and should be delivered to the laboratory on the same day.
Samples that require testing for other analysis, which cannot be done
in our lab, will be transferred to another adequate laboratory.
